Single Session Workshops

Bird and Driftwood Wall Hangings
Using driftwood and wooden birds, participants will customize their birds with acrylic paint, create and paint custom beads, and design and assemble their wall hanging.

Air Dry Succulent Planters
Using hand building techniques and air-dry clay, we will make a series of 3 mini succulent planters. Just adorable. All materials, including succulents included!

Macrame Wall Hangings
Learn basic macrame knots and transitions to make a beautiful custom wall hanging. You choose your color and stitch and have at it!

Intro to Alcohol Inks
Come explore the beautiful and easy to learn art of painting with alcohol ink. Alcohol inks are vibrant, fast-drying inks that can be used to make gorgeous abstract effects. Make a series of 4 coasters or a painting.

Photo Transfer Workshop
This workshop will teach you several ways to turn your photos into works of art. From regular prints to wood, canvas, or fabric, create a lasting memory in a unique format.

Photo Assemblage
This followup class to Photo-Transfer 1 takes it to the next level by building on your transferred images. Using paint, layering, and collage, you will add depth and interest to your photos.

Tree ring Prints
Create stunning one-of-a-kind tree ring prints using a stump cross-section. Participants can choose to make a small series or a large print as well as experiment with adding watercolor for a beautiful effect.

Felted Animals
Using needle felting technique, we will felt and design a small (and frankly adorable) felted animal. These charming little guys are great for gifts , display, or the little ones in your life. No experience necessary.

Recycled Felt Handbag
Grab an accidently shrunken wool sweater or hit up a thrift store find. Learn how to easily felt wool and use basic hand sewing to create a one-of-a kind handbag.

Sweater Mittens
Using an old shrunken sweater, design cozy wool mittens with your own custom style. No sewing experience necessary.

Creative Process
2-4 Sessions
This course focuses on the process of art-making as therapeutic, meditative, and restorative. Like yoga for your creative mind, exercises encourage new thinking as well as calming the mind and body. This a great class for creative professionals looking to expand creative thinking as well as anyone wanting to open their creative process.

Get Green
2 sessions
This class offers an introduction to living cleaner with less environmental impact and less harm to our bodies through simple DIY organic products, countertop gardening and composting. Learn how to easily grow micro greens, make organic cleaning and body products, and get composting.

Abstract Painting
(for your home!)
4 Sessions
​​Using the color palette and style of your home as inspiration, students will learn the basic techniques of abstract acrylic art including color theory, brush work, composition, mixing mediums, and preparatory sketching in order to create a unique painting to display in their home.

Eco-Art
2 sessions
Using the natural world as our inspiration and material, we will explore, collect, and create two and three-dimensional artworks using bio-materials both in and out of the studio. Artists will experiment with ephemeral installation work and living art as well as exploring techniques to integrate natural materials into studio practice.

Make Art not War
4 Sessions
In this project based class, participants will promote social change by leading by example. Individuals or partners will pick a topic of interest and research and explore ways to make change through art-making. This is an exploration in gentle activism through publicly placed art, intentional discussions, and positive interventions.
