Nature Makerspace

In this hands-on, nature-inspired art class, young artists will explore creating art using materials found in the natural world. Using items like leaves, sticks, stones, shells, flowers, sand, and earth pigments, students will experiment with texture, pattern, and form while learning to see nature as both inspiration and art supply. Throughout the session, children will make their own clay and create natural paints, learning how artists throughout history used the earth around them to create art.
